Gtn is love Gtn is life
Do folks machine wash their gear every single day?? I hand wash and hang my kit every day and machine wash weekly.
(1) If your washer has a "hand wash" setting, use it — it should be the most gentle setting. (2) If your kit was soiled a lot or you sweat heavily and you needed to add a little extra detergent to the wash, then follow the wash cycle with an extra rinse and spin cycle. (3) If the chamois in your shorts is stained, put some liquid detergent directly on it and work it into the chamois by hand before you wash it.
I never thought I would give a thumbs up to a video on how to clean clothes then I saw this good job thanks for the video I learned allot
Zip up jerseys and turn them inside out and put them into the washing machine in those clothes baggies. Set the washing machine on delicate. I hang my kit to dry it out once it comes out of the machine.
My Areo tech kit is going on 3 years old. Its in dire need of replacement. Wash your jerseys zipped up! The detergent will cause the zipper to stop working.
Does gtn and gcn have a speech coach? You guys all have the same speech patterns!
With all due respect, you're beautiful. And great info on caring for kit.
Thanks for the info.. I’m new to cycling and have been nervous about washing my kit and having it fade the colour or shrink in size ( it’s already pretty tight)
Don't wash it 😉
Sprey on some deodorant and use it for min 1week. Best tip if you are lazy enough to even sit with your kit on at home when you come from a ride.
Anyone else wear and wash their kit while showering?
Thank you for the tip, and you are hot!

I just chuck mine in with my other clothes
A laundry net is useful for gloves and jackets with Velcro & zippers. I also put my cycling shorts with their long straps into a net to lessen wear and stretching.
0:56 Tere was no need to cut
Zip up jerseys, bib shorts in a mesh bag, Dr Bronners organic unscented soap, cold water using a 2nd rinse with 1/4 cup vinegar after 1st rinse. Clean and very soft with no soap smell.
I'm happy Mark isn't the one explaining this. Who would believe him?!
I use the program for lingerie.
One of my favorite videos so far. Not precisely because of the topic, it is just that I like Heather 😊
You just give it to your Mum..sorted..
Looking forward of a video cleaning the cycling helmet.
Do you have any kit washing tips?
