In August 2018 I set out to solo circumnavigate Iceland by bike packing 3324km in an attempt to form the first Iceland National Trail, a means of encouraging people to explore further in to Iceland and spread the benefits of the tourist industry throughout the country.

The journey was generously supported by the team at Odlo and they helped me with the provision of the cycling apparel that I used for the whole journey. I must note at this point that even as an ambassador of Odlo I have not been paid for this review, but rather this an honest recording of my experiences on one of the toughest challenges of my life.
