The old cycling adage: there’s no such thing as bad weather, just bad preparation. Neil runs you through the kit he’s taking for a week of bike packing in Iceland in sub zero temperatures. From cold weather clothing, to his frame bags and bike.

  1. Can Blake read this but you all can you tall me what country your in please and can I how one of your gel suspension bikes please it is the best bike I ever have and I love your vedio’s gmbn good work.

  2. woooow, even though you depart only a few days after we came back (first September week was our last one), you take more clothing than my wife had for over 3 weeks in Iceland, of which over 2 weeks was sleeping in our tent at campsites (but please, do not tell her 😉 ). So, well, I think you should leave like 3/4 of the stuff with your support car, for the bike-packing days at least ;). But I think you may miss some spare spokes and maybe a chain link.
Btw, watch for heavy rains on places with delicate soil please – even bike can do a lot of harm there.

  3. what brand /model cycling cap is that?is it water water proof ?also: Do they make a lightweight waterproof cycling jacket/windbreaker?? if not lightweight! Can any1 recommend one on the lighter side preferably w/hood?

  4. i want to see where and how you gone pack all this stuff on the bike ,, it will not fit in a saddle bag and in frame bag , you will need a full touring kit or a big backpack for all that ,
